The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) is hosting the 2021 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race on Boxing Day – the 76th edition of this iconic race.
Changes have been made to ensure everyone’s safety after detailed and ongoing consultation with all stakeholders including Governments, Health departments, Councils, Competitors, agencies, industry and more.
There are no changes to the water-side aspect of the race. Competitors will line up across four start lines in spectacular Sydney Harbour, tussle for position as they race to The Heads, then turn south and hunker down for their 634-nautical-mile adventure to Hobart.
Watch the 2019 record breakers.
