Cape Classic Sailing Series – Theewaters Classic
Due to lockdown restrictions, ZVYC missed their slot in the Cape Classic series.
TSC will hold their regatta on 5th and 6th December 2020 and HYC will hold their regatta on 13th and 14th February 2021.
Dinghies and Hobies will be spread across 2 courses.
COVID measures will be followed. A questionnaire will need to be completed by each person entering
the club at the gate and your temperature will be taken. Masks must be worn at all times on shore.
Sailors must have a buff or mask on their person to be worn if assistance is required while on the water.
Social distancing and sanitizing must be adhered to in the clubhouse precinct.
Boerewors rolls and an ice cream for all competitors after sailing on Saturday.
On Saturday evening,
braai fires will be available at the clubhouse with complimentary salads . Free tea and coffee will be
available all weekend.
Although Southern Charter have decided to step down as sponsor of the series, we must thank and acknowledge them for their support over the last 7 years. Thank you!
At 08:00 on Saturday 5th December, TSC is holding an Informal Swim. Swimmers will start at the
jetty and swimto the last cabin and back about 20m from shore. There will be a safety boat accompanying
the swimmers. Coloured caps must be worn. All are welcome.
